FAQs
What happens after I submit a request?
A CSP engineer reviews your request, usually within one business day. If the engagement is a fit, you get scheduling options and a payment link. If the engagement isn't a fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere useful. No payment is collected on this site.
Does the $499 really credit toward the assessment?
Yes, in full. If we're 45 minutes into the working session and it's clear you need the full assessment, we'll say so, and the $499 comes off the $4,900.
What access do you need for the working session?
Read-only or supervised, your call. Most sessions run as a screen share where your engineer drives and ours points. Nothing is installed, and no standing access is created unless you decide to set it up for a larger engagement.
What's explicitly not included in the $4,900?
Penetration testing, source-code review, phishing or social engineering tests, remediation implementation, ongoing monitoring, SOC 2 audit representation, and non-AWS platforms. We can scope any of those separately. We'd rather name the fence than let you find it later.
AWS partners offer free Well-Architected Reviews. Why pay for this?
Take the free Well-Architected Review if it's on the table. The review is a standardized checklist, and it's genuinely useful. Our assessment is a security engineer going through your actual environment: the IAM policies, the bucket permissions, and the things a framework questionnaire can't see. Different tools. Some clients do both.
Does the assessment guarantee we're secure, or compliant?
No, and nobody honest will tell you otherwise. Findings apply to the agreed scope on the dates we looked. The assessment gives you a defensible picture and a prioritized plan, not a certificate.
